Dutton author Tina Nichols Coury--“Hanging Off Jefferson’s Nose, Growing Up On Mount Rushmore”--created a fab video at the recent SCBWI LA Writer's Day. I'll bet you'll recognize lots of wonderful kidlit folk, including me and my client Charlie Cohen.

I'm rereading BALLAD by Maggie Stiefvater and HUNGER GAMES is on deck. :)
I just finished Hush, Hush and am now reading The Heretic's Daughter. Wake is next.
I just picked up a YA I had never heard of called CHERRY HEAVEN by L.J. Adlington. Haven't read much but it seems intriguing.
I'm finally reading Catching Fire. My reward for finishing my own major revisions! And I devoured Beautiful Creatures in three days. Then it's on to Chasing Brookyln and The Maze Runner.
I'm reading Kira-Kira right now. Great writing. I'm learning a lot from it and enjoying it, too.
Hunger Games and Let It Snow (Green/Johnson/Myracle) I love post-Christmas reading!
I just finished Ballad. I think Maggie Stiefvater is a genius. Next is Monsoon Summer by Mitali Perkins.
Great titles!
I just finished Nanny Piggins. Tonight--Happyface then Hunger Games and Catching Fire.
Happy New Year!!!
Going Bovine by Libba Bray
Already read Hunger Games and Catching Fire. Loved them. Now I'm reading Warriors Power of Three Bk 1 with my son. These Warrior books are really entertaining and she's an amazing writer. I honestly think she writes them faster than we read them. I'm also reading Jane Eyre. Will teach it to my high school seniors when I return to work.
I'm just starting THE SKIN I'M IN.
Jill, you'll like the Hunger Games series i think. I just finished Carpe Diem- loved it! And now reading Fire. Up on deck is Silver Phoenix.
