Here's to weekends, going to the beach, zoning out in the sand and coming up with your next great book idea. OK, it is a little early to know if it is great or not, but it just could be. I wrote the beginning and the end while attempting a nap, and then I spent the next couple of hours repeating them to myself so that I wouldn't forget them before I made it home. From now on I have to remember to bring paper and a pen wherever I go. And I call myself a writer.

  1. Yes, Paper and Pen ALWAYS

good luck with your new great idea.

  2. the worst is when you think of something during the night between waking and sleep. that stuff always gets lost in the ether, usually...

  3. Oh, yeah, I've probably lost a dozen brilliant books / scenes / dialog in the space between waking and dreaming!

  4. Hi, Jill
There must be something in the ether because I joined blogland just a few weeks ago!
You know you could have written the beginning and end in the sand and taken a photo...
Perhaps pen and paper is a better idea, though.
    Good luck with the story.

  5. I love the writing in the sand idea!
I also love the image of you walking around repeating the idea to yourself.

  6. jacqui, yeah, there's nothing like looking like a loony muttering writer. haha!

  7. Ji Jill.

    Nice Looking blog.
